As a local Geelong Family, (Mother and Son, with our Children and Grandchildren attending the service) we felt the need for a Geelong Family owned and Operated centre, providing exceptional care to children and families in the Geelong Region, the individualised care for children is paramount with a prescribed focus for children with special needs allowing them and all children a safe place to grow and thrive with their individual needs being met. At Evolve your child is not just a number!

We aim to empower our team to be the best that they can be, equip them with relevant knowledge and offer professional development opportunities to continuously challenge and enhance their professional thinking.

Our Philosophy

At Evolve Early Learning and Kindergarten, we aim to create a warm and welcoming space for the children, families, educators, all stakeholders and our local community. We value each child’s uniqueness, abilities and strengths and thus aspire to provide a safe, inclusive, respectful, stimulating and challenging learning environment. We believe that children learn best through play and when they feel safe, respected and secure in their environment. At Evolve we are always nurturing a trustful, respectful and positive relationship with the children in our care and their families.

We believe that families are the child’s first teacher and that ongoing communication with families ensure that everyone builds a more complete picture of the child’s interests, needs, learning progress and uniqueness. We believe that working in collaboration with families is thus vital to achieve the best outcome for our children.

We believe that our role as educators is to facilitate the children’s learning as we listen to their voices and intentionally set up the learning environment to provoke curiosity and invite children to express their ideas, thoughts and feelings. We believe that we are co-learners alongside the children and their families and aim to be an active participant in their learning journey as we research and learn with them.

We believe that children are capable, competent, resourceful and successful learners. We aim to provide a learning environment that builds on the children’s existing knowledge and allows them to lead as we facilitate, encourage, invite, inspire and acknowledge each child’s unique potential. We understand that learning goes beyond gaining knowledge and more about the children exploring, experimenting, discovering and rediscovering the world around them. We, therefore, aim to provide learning experiences that brings joy and wonder!
